Horseheads Christian School has ministered faithfully alongside the parents and churches of the Twin Tiers of New York and Pennsylvania for forty years. Our mission statement clearly defines our purpose for existence in these words: Horseheads Christian School exists for the glory of God

In 1969 a group of concerned parents approached Pastor Willis Hull about the possibility of establishing a Christian School as a ministry of the First Baptist Church of Horseheads. After prayerful consideration, the school was established and started with 66 students in gr. K-6, with plans to add a grade each year that followed.
Mr. Earle Harriman was called as the administrator in 1972. Mr. Harriman came with a wealth of experience both on the college and Christian School levels. Under his direction, a separate junior-senior high school was established, which is now called Twin Tiers Christian Academy.

Mr. Kane returned to HCS from missionary service in Santiago, Chile in 2006 to direct the school. He invites you to visit HCS and prayerfully consider how your children can grow and mature under the careful direction of our well qualified staff of teachers.
